I have to ask what kind of modified car you are building? Is it a drag car, road racer, demo derby?

Hilarious! Better than a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day! That's real thinking outside the box!

Buck, this is as far as it has gone. The body is sitting on four wheels and a hood scoop is sitting on the body. Not sure how to go about a drivetrain.
Ok, you all saw the kit hard plastic two piece tires and chrome rims i used in the mock ups. What I went with for the end result were a set of resin wheels from Freds Resin Workshop (which is now out of business) they are super detailed wheels. They are wrapped in a set of tires from a Monogram sprint car.
I then added a harness to the seat to help the cockpit out
Oh, and then the powerplant. As Clay would say, its "imagineered". I figured that if old Enzo was trying to get involved in grass roots racing, he might want to try a prototype Ferrari V8.

Buck, I believe they came in the Amt 37 Chev modified kit.

Are you going to use a plastic spoon for the air cleaners bubble?

Re: Ferrari GTO Dirt Modified
Thanks Clay, i hoped you would like the imagineering.
Bruce, no spoons were injured in this model.
Ok, now this is where I am at. Finished the paintwork, and added some decals. The door decals silvered a bit, but I am planning on dirtying this one up, just have not done so yet. I also have the AMT 53 Ford Pu/trailer combo that I want to build one day for it.
