Dragon Tiger II
Been working on this for awhile so here's some catch up showing major phases
This is where it's at now (last pic). The effects were achieved with airbrush fading, filters, pin washes, acrylic clear coats, pigments and oil dot filtering. I've still some stuff to add to it. As Dragon kits go, assembly was unusually smooth and mousetrap free, especially the individual link magic tracks. Will post more as it happens
Regards,
Mark

Re: Dragon Tiger II
Well it looks like something's not letting me post pictures...Strange, the method I used worked before. Don't have time to struggle with it now sorry I'll try to hash it out later

Re: Dragon Tiger II
Hmmmm..... that's odd 'cos the little boxes are saying the images have been moved or deleted.
Don't struggle with it Mark. Pm me and I'll walk you through it.

Re: Dragon Tiger II
I can't PM you when I try I get a message telling me that I've not posted enough...What I did was click on the IMG link in Photobucket and paste here. This worked on the pic of the Pz III but not on this post, and I have not moved or deleted anything. Perhaps I need a new host for images.

Re: Dragon Tiger II
Mark, the best and easiest way is to post the images direct from your own computer.
Check this link and work through it.
Let me know if it still doesn't work.

Re: Dragon Tiger II
In Photobucket, you have 4 options to share foto.
Left click the 'direct' option to highlight it, then right click to copy it.
In your post type
No spaces.
Never mind, it defeated me trying to write the HTML code !!

Re: Dragon Tiger II
I'm glad you have it sussed Mark.
That's some nice weathering. I'm sure hoping I can learn from your techniques.

Re: Dragon Tiger II
Thanks guys
Switching to Flickr seemed to be the only way; PB has always been weird and screwy at best
Glad the Tiger measures up
Al, if you have any weathering questions ask any time I'll be glad to help

I love those figures Mark.
I'll be in touch soon.
Have you tried posting photos direct from your own computer yet?

Superb
- figures really bring models to life and make a display appear to be a 3D photograph.

Re: Dragon Tiger II
Good looking Tiger II Mark. How do Dragon compare to Tamiya?
