WRC Rally Cars
Inspired by watching the Classic Rallying at the weekend,
I made a concerted effort to finish my two WRC rally cars that have been hanging around for months - and months.
The Tamiya Corolla and the cheaper Heller Mitsubishi Lancer.
They don't represent any particular car (spot the differences) - but hooray! they go on my very short finished list.

Hi Mr Dad,
Love these, and the subtle weathering really finishes them off...

There ya go Ron.... you're getting in theswing of finishing models.
Both good looking and nicely light weatherd models.

very nice
the tamiya corolla is on my wants list
whats the Evo like?....ive got that heller kit and was planning on doing it soon but i once did a heller Scooby, ended up buying a second kit to get enough good parts between the two to make one (and it still had major problems)

Re: WRC Rally Cars
I love those rally cars! To me they represent "racers" that a small budget person could someday own. For a time they were all out race cars and while I consider the Stratos an all-time beauty, it was no practical "daily driver" type car. Thanx for a pair of winners! Luv the light weathering. Excellent fotos too, thanx!

Re: WRC Rally Cars
I envy you guys that can lay decals like that. Mine seem to never turn out right. Nice job.

Re: WRC Rally Cars
Thanks everybody, your praise is much appreciated ...but it's thanks to this forum that I actually got the cars finished!
The Heller Mitsubishi kit isn't a very detailed kit, like Tamiya, but does make a nice tidy model.
I think I was lucky with the decals on the Corolla - but it did take 3 hours to sticker up!
