Chevy truck with sled deck and 1/24th scale diecast sled.

The diecast sled inspired this build. I have a very similar sled in my garage.
Pick up is Box stock but I added some more aggressive tires on it.
Sled deck is scratch build as are the Super Clamps .

Nice truck. The paint and the engine bay rock.

Interesting that you call it a "sled", as it is also call a snowmobile here is Oregon, and a snow machine in Alaska.

I don't expect much from die casts, but the engine does rock! Your addition of sled and mounting is really makes the model. I can see you doing custom business selling the whole things to Winter Warriors up North! Great idea and the fist I ever saw on a model!

Yeah Sled, Snowmobile, but not a Skidoo cause that is a brand :-).
Thanks for all the comments. This truck kit was a treat to build. I never seem to build any new kits that have come out, always building the old stuff. Piles of detail on this and easily picked out with paint. Was a fun build.

Brent, any issues with the truck build? Its in my stash for the future.

And where are the replacement tyres from?

Truck was an awesome kit, no issues at all. The tires were goopped thick with paint and a total mess so they have been around for a long time. Not sure what kit they came from , sorry.

Yes there are manufactures that build these decks.

I just got a call from SuperClamps. I am a member on a snowmobile forum as well and posted the pictures. He wants to buy it from me. I have never sold anything before, what's it worth? I need some rear super clamps for my sled trailer so thinking off doing some bartering.

Well today was the day I said good bye. I modified the deck by adding more products that Superclamp sells. They have a produce called Superglides. I added a wood floor so the glides would show up better. I added the glides to the ramp as well. He had two die cast sleds waiting when I got there. Looks pretty sweet with both on the deck.
