Re: Monogram Triumph TR7.
It looks kinda like you're going for a full vinyl body there, Nige. Looking good nonetheless, and the arch extensions look right on the money to me

Yes, I bought one of these TR7's when they first came out,
along with the Ford Capri (both the JPS and race versions)and the Porsche 924

So what was the Capri like do you recall?
Still working away on this, the entire roof has been filled in as they were raised areas around the leading edge and pillars.Styling cues I guess, plus the plastic vents on the B pillars have been filled in too.
The area where front bumper wraps around into the wings is being smoothed out too,the bumper is being left off and the nose is going to be treated too.
Excuse my mucky paws,I had just munched on some bbq chicken...

Yes, Mono was the other Capri U.S. model. I bought and still have one or two AMT ones that I love. Always wanted to do one as a rally car and one as a saloon racer (have a foto of one sponsored by "Wiggins-Teape") Always thought it was a funny sounding combo.
Good luck and thanx again!
