AC Cobra 289
This is one I completed last year but never got around to posting it because I had not put the license plate on as it was not from the original kit and I was keep it OOB for the contest back in June to stay within the rules. I put the license plate on now and took some pics today in the bright sunshine.
The kit is AMT and the paint is Gun metal by Tamiya.
Thanks for checking it out!

Re: AC Cobra 289
I luv the Cobras and the 289 for me is the classic. My only quibble with the AMT ones is that the car sits a bit high on large tires. Yours is very nice, unusual color too! When will we see the early Cobra Daytona coupe in 1/25? The only good one was in large scale, very rare and costly. For that matter the Chevy Cheetah never got a fair release either. The old IMC 1960s road racer kits (Chaparrals, Ford GTs, etc) vanished and never returned in numbers to fill the need. Gone, gone, gone.

Thanks guys! Glad you like it.
Thanks Al! The plate came from a GTO, not one of my customs.
Thanks Harron! I would love to see a Daytona surface as a 1/24-25 at a reasonable price.
