Aoshima Game box van
Quirky little thing and looks tiny against other 1/24, originally intended to send it to my pal in Switzerland but didn’t think it would last the trip so I did him something else.
Never done an aoshima kit before and it was a pleasant experience. Pieces went together really well and the decals went down ok.
Cheers

It’s a pity we couldn’t all get together and put on a good show with all the diverse models and exhibits like this.

That looks brilliant Ash. Well done.
Do you think it could be converted to a pickup?
Ron.... You, Ash and I aren't that far apart, maybe we could fix up a meet sometime?

I think those fun kits are bought on a whim, and I can’t see them selling in big numbers - but I’m glad they are out there.
A meet-up sounds like a great idea Al.
....but I live in a dream world, a time before my accident.
I’m on a Medically assessed driving licence, up for renewal just after Christmas - not quite disabled, but I have insurance mileage limitations too. Although I can just reach a Ten to Two position on the wheel, I generally hold it at 5 o’clock with my right arm - so I don’t drive too far, but motorway driving isn’t a problem.

When I’m back working again we can sort something out if people are up for it.

Telford would be stretching it a bit for me.
Bring back the day when a friend who collected old books, won one on Ebay, and rang me to say he was going to collect it the next morning, and would I like to go - but it was in Stratford upon Avon. I naturally agreed. We set off on our bikes at 8.30 (Darlington) and by noon he’d collected the book and we were eating fish and chips by the Avon in Stratford.

That is very different. I like it, and you did excellent work, but very different.
