Not sure it’s greater skills chap, think it’s more an experience thing.
Did you use normal tin foil?

I’ve used everything from Kitchen foil - but yes, the more attempts the better the results - at least that’s what they say !

I just had a pot noodle which is why I thought of kitchen foil. Pot noodles tops are almost like steel

Re: BMW Isetta 3wheeler.
With the Isetta almost finished, the one notable absence to me was the large front corner bumpers that many in the UK had fitted on the ‘Plus’ models, which weren’t included in the kit.
Thanks to a wire coat-hanger, and a few tries, I managed to create a pair to finish off the build - and a big mudflap for that single wheel.
It’s a pity I couldn’t hang the door from the opposite side, and reposition the steering wheel to make this a true Brit car.
....Just a couple of details left to do before I show it in the finished section.

Re: BMW Isetta 3wheeler.
There's an old tale of people parking them for the first time front in, and not being able to get out, not sure if they had a reverse gear Ron?
It's probably old Dublin folklore. Wish it was true!

What blue is that? I love it. And thanks for the teardrop inspiration, I've got the AMT Nova with a trailer included that would be a natural for a teardrop.
