Re: 1965 Plymouth Hemi Satellite
I got the wheels from a vendor at the NNL East Show. I was hoping to get some more in April, but the Show was postponed until September.dublin boy wrote:Where did you get the wheels from?

Mike.... I have a old Johan 65 and 66 Fury HTs from my dads old collection I need to restore once possible love their styling and looks. The 66 is actually a promo one...too cool not to restore/repair them. I have a real passion for the bog bodied cars of the 60s they had class and power. Nice to see Im not the only one that does.

Absolutely restore them! Johans are old tools so the chances are we may never see them again in plastic.

A beautiful old classic in a bright modern color. Great job, Mike.

I agree with you Mike and I have close to 100 of his old models/promos I really need to do just that with...the issue is finding what they need so I can...? There part of history and my family history as well...should be restored. I really enjoy seeing the look on my dads face when I can get one restored and show it to him so he knows there in good hands and safe keeping. I just really need to be able to make more progress on them. There are also too many that I know we all with never see again in reissues. My hope is to restore them as family owned replicas like his were for them...hope to someday.

Nice. Mica Blue, one of the easiest spray colour to work with I find. Always goes down nice and flat.
