69 Plymouth

69 Plymouth 4 door wagon I made from a 68 Plymouth GTX HT kit and a 65 Chevy Chevelle wagon builder.

I concur, WOW!! I would have never known you had converted it. Excellent work!!

Very cool site and wagons Harron68 I started after cutting the roof off(with all the glass posts) the wagon body with a little extra plastic left...then I sat the roof over the GTX HT body to figure where to cut it out at leaving a little extra plastic to work with. After carefully cutting out the GTX body for the new roof to be put on it I used strong glue to attach it to the body...filed and sanded the inside remaining plastic to make it look like it came on it. It took me a month just to do the bodywork for the conversion but was worth it.

The interior,glass,roof is from the 65 Chevy wagon kit.
The body is 68 GTX HT kit...but a chassis was used from a old Johan Plymouth kit.
The wheel covers are from a old 50s T-bird kit..was the closest ones I could find.

Thanks guys for the compliments...I have many more planed to do...many were ones the family owned once...just have to find the needed parts and donor cars to make them from...

LOL... Me too Kats. Guess that is why I have a passion for them..??? I hope to build a replica of all vehicles possible that the family owned over the years...hope to anyway...? Some may be impossible...?

Thank you gents...! Curt...I have a serious passion for the old wagons of the very late 50s through 70s era. I have collected a few now but always looking for more I do not have yet...others I just hope to build someday. Maybe add a camping trailer or ? behind some..?
