Ford 'T' Street Rod
The 1948 Mg TC conversion to race car is back in the box for now. It's just too complicated for my return to the bench.
So taking a good look at my almost 250 completed models, it occurred to me I have never built a 'proper' hot rod.....until now!!! All I'm going to ad is the HT leads.
So this is the box art:....
.... and the sprues. Just 108 parts and pretty straight forward.
Not sure about colour yet. or 'Stakeside' or not.

Re: Ford 'T' Street Rod
I'm not sure if these are mold lines or are supposed to be there. Either way they look horrible and will be going.
On the upside, the interior is a very nice fit.
Not sure as yet where the plugs are located but I'll figure it out. The molded in 'dizzy' is a bit naf, so the chome will be stripped and the inlet manifold sprayed in alluminium, the 'dizzy' will be brushed with satin black.
The Z'd chassis is simple but mercifully nice an straight.
The kit tyres are typical of the era of the kit....
..... so I may replace them with these:
Not a great deal better but at least the treads are square instead of slightly pointed.

Great start! I agree with your choice of old school flames and can't wait to see what decisions you make as far as colour goes.
