1970 Dodge Challenger T/A
Hello Dear All,
This is what happens when your 9 year old princess asks you why there's no pink cars in my collection... I gave her a choice, either this or a Beetle convertible... Guess there's nothing wrong with her tastes
As for the kit, the well acquainted, easy, straight forward and fun Revell. Paint is Mopar Panther Pink from ZeroPaints, had a go deitailing it a bit more; MCG´s p.e. fret and vinyl is spot on.
Thanks for watching&HUG!
Nuno.

Beautiful job. It's nice to see a model with a vinyl roof, since it was such a popularoption in the 60's.

Beautiful Nuno, what did you use for the roof?
You might give us a tutorial on it please.

Great build Nuno. I'm mesmerised with the orange air cleaner cover. It looks flawless.

Hi,
Thank you for your kind words. In fact, Muscle-Car era was a major reason why I embraced this hobby.
Vinyl is quite alike bare metal foil, very thin and easy to trim. I used MCG's, but painter's tape also works great. The roof needs two thin gutters before applying the vinyl, sadly mine were a bit too large...
Tamiya Bright Orange spray is a great match for Chrysler's orange I guess.
Cheers,
Nuno.

Beautiful build! The body colour is very striking and deep, if you're going to paint a car pink that's the way to do it. Excellent detailing as well.
