The kit is Fujimi's enthusiast model and is very detailed. It would make the perfect model for a 'busy' garage diorama.

For such a high parts count kit, Fujimi, oddly, did not include the twin coils. So of course I had to make some!!

I couldn't get the 'race' door cards to fit at all properly, so in the end I used the road going versions. The rest of the interior lends itself very well to a race car look.

I replaced the stock drivers seat for a one from the parts box and made the gear lever from a sewing pin, with a shaped dab of epoxy for the knob. The instruments were treated to epoxy glass faces.

I also wired the battery and found a pair of 'Colonel Bogey' air horns to replace the feeble 'meep, meep' horn in the kit. The fuel tank straps are BMF. The exhaust tips are metal Bootlace electrical connectors.
