Jaguar XKR GT3 'Fantasy' version.
Four evenings work and she is finished and sitting alongside the Aston.
Airfix have done a fantastic job on these kits and although there are a few small areas where they could be better, I do hope they do well enough with them to bring out some new ones. I'd love to do some more in this scale.
I didn't like the original livery for this one so I went with a 'fantasy' version of this car:
At first glance it appears the same but differs in several ways. It has extended wheel arches, the exhausts emit from the sides, the front apron air intakes differ and the rear spoiler is different too. No matter, I didn't try to replicate any of that, hence the 'fantasy' bit.
The tail of the 'Jaguar' graphic on the right side, if placed 'correctly', would tun right through the deep recess of a filler of some sort. So, in the spirit of the 'fantasy' thing and taken the easy way out (LOL) I placed it a little further down, losing some detail in the process.
Both together:

Great replica, they really look good sitting side by side.
