I've missed you guys!

Yes, I've been absent. Its been one obstacle after another one and things are finally starting to level out. I almost sold my kits off, but after doing an extensive review I decided not to. I have only acquired roughly 5 kits since 2009. I haven't been able to build anything due to a lack of space. Speaking of space things are finally going to change for me. I'm going back home to Kansas City, MO after talking with mom and making sure after these recent renovations that'll she'll be ok. I told her I will be making trips back to help her, but I got to do this for me. I haven't been around also due to not having the ability to access the internet due to a bad laptop. So, I finally bought a new laptop. This also hampered my YouTube videos and such. I hope everyone has been well and I have a lot to catch up on. I'll start building again once I'm home and get a desk set up. But until then I'm living vicariously through y'all.

Guess what! I'm back too. Over the last two years I have fought one battle after another with my health. During that time I have been admitted to the hospital five times for everything ranging from pneumonia to back fusion surgery. At the moment it looks like I'm improved enough to get back with the group. I recently completed a Sherman Tank and am currently working on a small diorama. Hopefully during the next week or so I'll be able to get a WIP going on the diorama and post finished photos on the tank. Bear with me though, my health still is not what I would like it to be so things might be slow. At 78 years old even I have to admit I'm not the man I used to be.

Glad to hear you are bouncing back as well JohnJ. Sounds like we've been in the same boat with rough seas of health set backs and other battles. I wish I had the space to build models but as of right now I'm staying with my mom till I get everything together and get back home in Kansas City, MO. Get to feeling better soon and can't wait to see some of the work you've been doing.
