Summer means getting bodies prepped and sprayed. This one is done in Brilliant Orange.

Gorgeous coat and colour! Nice and rich - ideal for a sports car.

Interesting! The Jota was pretty much ignored by the model companies.

Note how well the contrasting colors bring out the best in the model and the styling the designer put into it. Superior interior!

Thank you all. A little more progress.
I built up to the coil colour using neutral grey then white before finishing with a red.

I've began the colour the block and chassis.

Outstanding work as usual, sir.

If I may ask: What was the purpose of the white layer on the coil?

Thanks Mike. The white ensures that the red is as bright as possible. I tried it with grey first but it looked pretty dull.

Can you spot the flaws in the interior? I can't! And hard to believe the springs are moulded ones too.

Super job David.

Stunning work! At the risk of being redundant, the detailing is great and those shock coils are beyond belief.

Comments appreciated guys. Hi Bob, don't see you on here much.
I've wired the engine and made some fuel lines and other various bits and bobs.

Exhausts next.

It's a pity all the detail won't be seen when it'd finished.

Nice to see it though Dave.
