'32 Ford Highboy
I made a start on a Revell '32 Highboy a few days ago. The engine has been painted Tamiya Metallic Green and the interior desert sand with embossing powder carpets and metallic British Racing Green dash.
I stripped the chrome from the brakes and painted them steel with gold calipers.
Time for a mock up.
More soon.

Great start! The engine looks good and the mock up already has a lot of character. Can't wait to see more.

Re: '32 Ford Highboy
Thanks for the comments guys.
Sorry about the wait but this is back on the bench after I found the wheel half that went missing a few months back. I'd got the primer on so today I sprayed a couple of coats of BRG on the body, frame and grille shell.

I'm hoping to have it finished in time for the Huddersfield model show on Feb 11th.
I had sprayed the top of the bonnet too but it fell on the floor so I'll have to clean the crud off and sand it back before I repaint it.

Great progress! Unfortunate about the mishap with the bonnet - hate it when that happens myself. Otherwise it looks excellent.

Missing parts have plagued us all! Nice work so far. Rather than sanding dirty bonnet, you could strip it chemically. Sometimes it's easier.

Re: '32 Ford Highboy
Thanks for the comments guys. I have sanded down the bonnet ready to be repainted.
The suspension and engine have been fitted so there isn't much left to do now.
