IMC I believe. They also did a GT40 Ford and the Little Red Wagon. My 48 Ford kit is high on an "unlikely to ever build" shelf. More parts to the body that I believe possible.

I think that '48 Ford may have been I.M.C. (who made the great Ford GTs). However, I don't see opening doors so it may be a different one. Often, any interior door panels will show if originally it had separate doors. The Testors bottle and cap on box implies it was Testors, but they may have bought the old IMC dies. The IMC was very finicky as warpage in bodies was common, especially with doors cut out. The IMC had options for '46, '47 and '48 detailing. I always wanted to do one as a "Sportsman" woody.

I have a Testors and an IMC. Get them out about once a year--look at them--say NO WAY and put them back in the stash! Good luck Al.

Hidden treasure in the salvage. I like where this was headed. I'll have to refine it when I get an opening.

My one surviving '49 is sectioned and if I go to dig it out it may have a chopped top. Always a good model with a lot of possibilities. Every unfinished model is a chance to "get it right." I hope you get to this one when you can.

Dibs on the turbo rally car! Another all time fave of mine. Great to see one in the hands of a great builder too! Diablo may be a super-car, but the looks just aren't there. Bland front end is the downfall.
