Texaco Station/Garage
For those of you who have not seen it elsewhere, here are a few shots of my pride and joy.
The diorama is a complete scratch build with the exception of the vehicles and the barrels. Hope you like it.

I like it very much. I remember when it won a Model of the Month award at Zbuckster's Model Cars. Great job John.

Nice.
I like the period look and the tires on the roof. That's a nice touch

I still say you can put to much into a dioarama and it take away from all the detail and yours is just right with just the perfect touch of detail

Re: Texaco Station/Garage
This is stunning, I absolutely love this one, is everything made from kits or have some things been scratch built...

John: The vehicles are, of course, kits. The gas pump is purchased complete, then some changes made and aged. The barrels are purchased and aged as are some of the other details. The buildings, benches, coke cooler and the various tanks are all scratch built. Took the better part of a year to complete. Thanks for the interest. JohnJ

Hi John,
You have some great building skills Sir, you can almost smell the petrol and oil in the air, the garage building itself is stunning, top marks to you...
