Martin Millner
Martin Millner has died, you may not recognise the name, so I'll add "Route 66" & "Adam 12". That should make it easier.
I was too young to see Route 66 back in the day, and we didn't have TV in
New Guinea anyway, so I saw it much, much later.
Always enjoyed the cars and the little slices of America in the early 1960s
it featured. As for Millner, I've never read a bad word about him, he seems to be have been a real gentleman.

I remember watching Adam 12 in the early seventies when I was a kid. It played on a Sunday night and it was one of my favourite shows. I am sure he was one of the good guys on screen and in real life.

He was a lucky actor, with 2 hits in his career. Curious that they both involved cars so much. Being an oldster not only do I remember "Route 66" I have the board game. That show is free on the web and I can recommend it as a realistic drama. The character George Maharis played (Tod?) was an orphan in the stories and his adult life character was deeper and a bit troubled, Milner's more fun loving. I heard an interview with Maharis about a year ago and the filming of it on location was frenetic and fascinating for the folks in the small towns where they worked. It was a good show by the standards of those days.

Hi Mr W,
I didn't recognise his name so I did what most tend to do these days and Googled his name, I don't remember either shows nor seen them, but, I do recognise his face from films he was in...

RIP. I remember both of those shows. "One Adam twelve, One Adam twelve, do you copy?"
