1955 Chrysler 300
Mobeius kit:
It was only offered in three colours that year, Tango Red, Formal Black or Platinum White...... so naturally I went with Candy Apple Green..... LOL
I added plug leads, coil lead, hard and flexi fuel lines, dyanmo to control box wires, brake servo hard line and vacuum hose, battery to earth and starter wires, heater motor wire and power steering hose to the engine compartment, flocked the interior floor and parcel shelf, lowered the suspension and parted out the kit wheels for some chromed Torque Thrusts.
Paint is by Zero Paints and cleared with automotive 2k.

Been waiting for the finished pics. Love the color, stance, and wheels. Now I just need to see the top. It blends in with the background too well.

With a number of '50s car kits, we are so lucky to have foil to do all the chrome. Silver paint never quite worked and was a devil to get perfect. Congrats on a fine job that brings out the best in the kit.

Well you get 11/10 from me for that
if you take a picture on a black background then i might raise it to a 12/10
The marks would have been higher but theres a bit of flocking missing under the bulkhead tsk tsk lol

Re: 1955 Chrysler 300
The black is better.
I made up a portable 3 sided box and sprayed in grey primer, it's a more nuetral background for most colours and reasonably non reflective when using a flash.
Wip primer shots do cause some fun though.

Beautiful Chrysler Al. The paint is top notch as usual and the engine is nicely detailed. Moebius sure make some nice kits to work with.
