Re: Merry Christmas
Well as an aethiest, I don't celebrate Christmas but I do celebrate the midwinter solstice on the same day. (Yeah I know that's four days late!!)
However, I would like to take the opportunity to wish you Health, Wealth and Happiness in everything you do.
Cheers guys, you are all the real stars of this site.
Roll on 2015.

Re: Merry Christmas
Religion aside, this time of long, dark nights and an end to the calendar year makes a person think about things. May we all be thankful for all that we have in life and remember those having hard times. Thanx to all for this best model site forum!

Re: Merry Christmas
MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE HEART OF ZION. Having said that I would like to list just some of the things I have to be thankful for.
1. My dear wife of 54 years. She is a special woman who has managed to put up with me bringing home the stress of the job for years. She has managed to maintain regardless of her own stresses of being a police officer's wife. She has provided me with a happy home for all these years. She has always said YES when I decided I wanted to see some other part of California and asked if she minded transferring again with all the work that entailed. She has been a Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother par excellence. She has always been the woman I have wanted to come home to.
2. My family. Two daughters, two sons-in-law, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. The daughters and their husbands have strong happy marriages of 31 years each. It is easy to be happy with such a family.
3. My past career of over 30 years in law enforcement. I loved the job as much on the last day as I did on the first. It was a career where each day I felt that I was making a difference. Nobody can ask for anything more than that.
4. My friends. Over the years I have had many acquaintances, but relatively few friends. Those true friends I cherish. I particularly cherish the friendship of a certain Englishman who made the trip to Utah this past year. Hopefully he will be able to come back again and we can keep the rain off the Salt Flats this time.
5. There is much more for me to be happy about in this Christmas Season, but I won't go into religion.
Finally, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas to All except Al. I wish him a Merry Solstice.....I think
Buck - What a great photo, that boy looks like a handful.
John - In another life I was a cop too. The wives of police officers are the same all over the world and the shift work can make family life difficult too.

Merry Christmas to all. Regardless of your beliefs, the end of the year is a good time to get together with family, celebrate and reflect on the good things in our lives.
