I lost my big sweetheart last night ......

..... Luna, our 10 year old Samoyed ............. my big sweetie ............. had to put her down last night due to a severe case of bloat and other complications .......... rest in peace baby girl ........... I loved you so much

She was a gorgeous dog John. You'll miss her a lot.

I've lost many pets over the years so I know the pain it causes. But take heart, you wouldn't want her to suffer.

True. It always hurts to lose a pet, and the loyalty of dogs tugs at the heart. When we get a pet we know it's for a short while, and we have to accept that and do what's best for our "best friends." Sympathy to you and your family, most of us have felt the same for our best buddies.

We're big animal lovers, we lost our rottie girl a couple of years ago, the big white furball in my avatar still misses her because she was his "mum"

Sorry to hear about your loss, John.
Pets are very much members of a family and it hurts when they go.
Our whole household are animal lovers,
and sadly we lost our 17 year old bruiser of a tom cat only a week ago.
....I still catch him out of the corner of my eye.

After losing my baby girl, Ashley An, after 17 yrs 8 months and 1 day. It is hard. My condolences go out to you and your family. Just remember, she'll be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge when it comes time for y'all to meet again.

Sorry to hear about your loss. There are no words that make it better. I know she was loved and will be missed.

No, not right now ............ we still have two of our four that we have had since 2009, so we'll stay with them for right now. We still have a 10 year old Siberian Husky named Sterling and a 4-1/2 year old Goldendoodle



We still have the Doodle on the left, Cheyenne, but we lost her sister, Brindle, to cancer a year and a half ago on her third birthday .......... we just haven't had good luck with our dogs lately

That is one good looking husky John.
And the labradoodle rates a solid 9.5 on our cute-ometer.

Sad time for you John. I had a yellow lab for almost 16 years who was part of the family. He died in 1998 and at times I still mourn him. You have my sincere sympathy.

It's good to hear so many animals have found loving homes with some of our members. On the loses, we all know the pain of loss...and occasionally seeing their images after they've gone.
So many critters still are unadopted and in need of more good people like us. Thanx.

An American writer, Kinky Friedman said in one of his books, that heaven is a place where every pet you have ever owned will come running to you. Hold onto that thought.
