AT last! My Delray is finished.
It's March 1956, and Ralph has just picked up his new Chevtolet Delray. The missus wanted one of those glamorous Bel Air2 dr hardtops, but Ralph told her that "he wasn't paying more money for a car for less posts for the roof"
(She dosen't know Ralph spent the extra money optioning up the Delray with the optional 4bbl dual exhaust 265 and a Powerglide)
End of fantasy, here's my take on Revell's '56 Delray. I reccomend the kit.
And I must adjust that front bumper too.
And no, I don't own shares in the company!
Cheers,
Chris

That is an outstanding Delray, looks real and if I remember right the front bumbers did sit like that.

I've not seen one DelRay where the bumper is perfect even from the factory. Great work! I love it. Does look real in the pic. Keep up the outstanding work.

Chris: Really nice. That is one of the best box stock Chevy's I have seen. Your choice of color is perfect. Great job.

I believe what makes it is that the foto shows off the best points of the model. Paint looks great (a modest "Plain Jane" for a basic model line). The chrome trim foil is well done and the valve stems on the wheels give them authenticity, as does the nice interior headliner.
Alll in all a fine pic and a great job.

Nice build and the colour suits well. Looks like a proper mum & dad car.

Thanks for the kind words. The credit for the headliner goes to Revell, since it's moulded into th
the roof.
