Ferrari milk float.......
I had to ponder on where to place this...Technically it's a truck but a three wheeler.
The idea kicked off with a G.B. elsewhere titled the Great British g.b. and I was going to do a Mini when I thought, what is more essentially British than the electric milk float.
You could set your watch by them, the noise was a click as the motor kicked in and then a clunk as the glass bottles rattled in their metal crates.
So time to update the concept! :bounce: :bounce:
Leccy motor? Nahh..
Small diesel motor? Nahh.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm howzabout a Ferrari 360 motor and tranny, with a single wheel at the front.
So I scratch built a tubular chassis for it,plus a step on step off cab plus the cargo body. The milk churns started off as 1:35 oil drums and are actually the fuel tanks on this,it has weelie bars and skid bars at the front to help with cornering..

Re: Ferrari milk float.......
That rocks. So do they use they to deliver milk to homes or to stores or both?

Two words. Terminal understeer. And totally cool.
Thumbs up from me. And no way the milk will go off with a speedy delivery vehicle like that.
Cheers,
Chris
