Police car decals
I'm about to start a conversion of a diecast 1/24th Chev Caprice- the rounded early '90s version. Can anyone recommend a set of police car decals ?
It had some crude RCMP ones on it- they'll be vapourised by the stripper.
Cheers,
Chris

Chris, I think John (johnjfj) is your man here. He's ex CHP.
As for decal, I believe Chimneyville will be your best bet.

I don't know who makes the decals for him, but they are very high quality and pretty reasonably priced.

I got a buddy can do just about any pic into a decal, email him the pic, (copy & past) in the email, and he can send you back a decal, If you want his info, lemme know....

Re: Police car decals
Chris,
I can second the reccomendation for the Chimmneyville hobbies decals they are excellent quality! The model you speak of is the same kit as the first one I ever had pics taken of and posted into the old Car Modeler Magazine (I had a bit of an advantage as I was driving one during third shift at the police dept. and building it dirung the day, nothing like having the ref. matierial parked in your driveway lol) Anyway I think I still have some various decals from chimmneyville I'm pretty sure I have some Kentucky, Indiana, and some others I cant think of at the moment if you'd like I can try and dig them up and see if I have any you'd like to use for your build. Just let me know.

I ended up getting some on line, but thank you for the offer. I should have checked back here earlier! Anyway, they're on the model now.
