Post Appocolyptic Hemi Cuda
Well this started as a basket case from the word go. I got the kit in the post one morning all exited I opened her up (as you do ) and!!!!
What no donk! Oh dear me I said ( well words to that effect anyway)  So I left it a while. Then came up with the bright idea of droping a V8 truck engine in, some 1/16th wheels I had spare on it,scratching a hood(that was missing to) and putting the rad and fuel tank in the boot (trunk) as you do . So this is the madness so far.

You don,t have to be mad to be around here! But it helps if you are. Tony.

Man that's wild. If ever there was a donk, this is it.

That's something else. Where did you get the rear wheels and tires?

Re: Post Appocolyptic Hemi Cuda
The wheels and tyres came from a 1/16th Ford Thunderbird they were spare parts to make a custom version and the engine came out of a AMT Pete 359 a long since build I did that the glue broke down on. One of my first builds so it made it,s way to the spares box rarther than the bin. You never know when things come in handy.
The whole idea of making something post appocoliptic came from hours of waching the Mad Max trilogy in my youth. So I thought a Hemi Cuda, 70and a half Camero, Mustang ect.... would just fit the bill. With a bit of wild custom and paint work it don,t look out place.
If the world ever got that bad lord only knows what wild creations will be cobbled up to get from A to B.
Maybe this.

A Holden ute from around the 50s or 60s which is to be used in the next Mad Max film Fury Road if it ever gets a release as it was posponed due to the conflict in the gulf they say there is going to be approx 100 vehicles in he new movie of diferent sizes from go carts to a 6x6 semi tractor plus the unmistakeable Ford Falcon makes another return. But the role of the vehicals is not yet decided. Thats about all I know as I,ve been keeping a eye on the Mad Max site but there has not been any mention of the filming been started again.
Producers decided to use the Gulf due to it,s rugged terain as the aria in Austrailia had been used in the filming of the past 3 movies and wanted something different for the fourth by all account.
Regards Tony.
