Re: Beater model A sedan
An articulated steering wheel.colum or just a tilt wheel setup would work also. Is their any way to thin or remove those supports with out the dash falling down ?? If it's going to fall do like the factory do, put a brace out of the way to hold the dash up on both sides. Just my "imagineere" kickin in :drunken: John

Re: Beater model A sedan
Most of you that know me from Bucks and earlier, have heard me admit how shallow I am.
I am able to laugh at myself and don't mind if anyone else joins in. This foto shows that I am trimming away the mounting blocks that I put on the ends of the dash and was in the way of the doors closing.
The doors still don't close well, and I am able to live with that (shallow). :drunken:
But, lookling at this foto, made me realize that there are some things that even 'imagineering' will not overcome! There is no way in hell that turning the steering wheel will cause the steer gear to activate the steer system !! :P
Cleverness meets stupidity !
I'm done with this mess, and will get better finish fotos when the sun shines next in Florida.
