2006 Chevy Camaro Concept gone SEMA
Wow! I started on this build in 2007 or 08 (been too long to remember). After switching directions several times, I finally settled on a plan and stuck to it. This is my first completed build of 2013.
This is the Concept Camaro from AMT. Not the best, but a decent representation of the famous Iconic Chevrolet. I painted it Dupli-Color MetalSpeck Silver Base Coast and MetalSpeck Orange over a satin black primer. I did that to give it more of a Burnt Orange/Copper look. I first did racing stripes then decided that a tu-tone paint scheme was in order so I broke out some Dupli-Color Satin White and shot that. Then pin striped it to break up the two colors. Interior is white and red. The "cloth" inserts is made out of MicroCloth Medical Tape which was colored red. The red carpeting is low pile dollhouse carpeting I got from a friend. Enough chatter. Here's the car!
Enjoy!!

Thanx guys! It was a fun build but took way too long for being simply done. LoL I know several moves got in the way but that's no excuse. LoL Thanx again and thank you to those who followed this build as well.

My, my, my, how that shines! Wonderful color combo and keeps alive the 2-tone look of the past. In one pic I can see the seats and, as you write, the cloth look adds a lot with the 2-tone at work again. You have made it special with the paint combo and the chrome trim is very clever! Thanx for the inspired change to the usual coloring.

That looks terrific Jason. The colours work well together.

Jason, I really like the two colors together. They ended up very striking. Great job.
