It's nice. All of my builds don't come out perfect either.

Cheers Al.
You just hide the flaws well right? I need to practice that but this one’s a bit too obvious
My next try will be much better.
Sticky decals, filled seam lines, pe seatbelts and less time messing around because I know the majority of colours parts need to be now without the hours of cross referencing between instructions and the internet.

Re: Tamiya Subaru 1998 WRC
I have this one. I got it cheap because the wheels and tires were missing. A member on another site sent me a set that came off a Porsche, and the decals didn't come out quite right....so I weathered the snot out of it.
You did good.

Re: Tamiya Subaru 1998 WRC
Thanks but I wanted to do it better so I bought the exact same kit and it’s already underway, super cheap from hobby link Japan.
There’s at least 1 more over there too so which I’m thinking about, slightly different livery but same body shape. It’s a nice kit and I like doing these so would definitely do more.

Another one I missed.
Nice work Ash. Looks great to me.
I built your first version some years ago but didn't use the light pod, as I don't particularly like it.

Iconic.... ..since these cars were winning all the major rallies, what livery comes to mind since ? 🥴

I only put it on today Al, don’t think I’ve snuck in a build without you seeing it .Skid wrote:Another one I missed.

I do need to sort the lighting out in my studio, I’ll do that next time.
I would build more of these Ron but they all look the same

Re: Tamiya Subaru 1998 WRC
I added a light to try give better illumination. Still need way more lighting and eventually, I’ll get something. There’s some small stick on battery powered led things which I’ve seen and they are only a few quid from Poundland (not everything is a pound anymore btw) but for now. I big lamp pointing into the hole.
