Photo Sizing ?
Hello everybody,
I wonder if you could help me with my photo sizing problem ?
I have been just loading up my photos direct from my iPad, but unknown to me, they are too large for the forum - okay on Facebook, but not here.
What are your methods of compressing photos, and what photo hosting sites do you use ?
I’m looking for the easiest....and they have to be FREE, as I don’t do online banking.
.....and my iPad and laptop are not exactly the latest models.
All hints, ideas and recommendations will be gladly received.
Cheers,
Ron.

Re: Photo Sizing ?
That looks good to me Ron. It''s 800 x 286 (pixels)
So I'd say you've cracked it.

Oh! and is the Escort diecast or styrene? If styrene, who makes/made it?

Re: Photo Sizing ?
Only half way there Al.....it’s to size, but not compressed, and the quality has gone.
If I can figure that out, then it’ll be worth cheering about
The Escort is one of those Belkits, that a built for a chum.

Re: Photo Sizing ?
That looks fine Ron.
I used to use Photoscape for resizing, but that was ages ago.
There has to be an easy way of doing it now rather than taking pics, uploading them, resizing them, saving them and finally posting them?

Your photos are looking good here Sir, I do like the vehicle transporter, are these all 1/24 scale and did you scratch build the transporter or was it a kit...

Looks good to me Ron. Well done.
I have the Belkits Roger Clarke version of the escort, which I have Alan Mann decals for. Also the full engine kit.

Re: Photo Sizing ?
Well, it looks like I have found a simple answer to sizing the photos,
....although I’d like more clarity and detail.
However, until I figure that out, I can at least illustrate my posts with one or two pictures.

Well, it’s back to the drawing board - didn’t quite work - so expect a few more tests in the days to follow.

Re: Photo Sizing ?
You need to build that Mk1 Escort Al, in the Alan Mann colours, it is so iconic .....if you have time, before your faculties wear out.
I knew a pal who built a replica in about 1980, complete with the bubble arches and Revolutions.
He was a guy who was a genius at paint and bodywork, and somebody that appeared to have all the toys and accessories any man would want.
But one evening he drove a car into his paint booth, closed the door, and kept the engine running.
You can’t take life for granted, but try and enjoy every minute of it.

You sure can't Ron. Pauline and I make the most of the time we have left.
Here is one of my favourit race photos. Captures it all for me.
