Revell kit:
Nice and well detailed kit altough a little tricky in places.
I added a sleeping bag, rolled up blanket, pillow, some pin ups, two layers of 2" foam rubber and a 'mens' magazine to the sleeper:
and in the cab I added on the seats: a thermos flask, a map, a pencil, and the drivers passport.
On the dash shelf I added: a pizza box, a thermos flask cup with coffee and a car mag.
Finally in the cab, I added a newspaper on the steering wheel:
Under the bonnet, I added all of the plumbing and wiring and some oily staining.
Instead of using the bed cover, I added some cargo instead and covered it with a tarpaulin made from nasal tissue and white glue.
and finally, I gave it a light coat of 'road grime'.
My good friend JohnJ (From SLC, Utah, USA) sadly now passed away, sent me a driver figure to complete the look. He was meant to be at the wheel but I gave him a newspaper and sat him on the step instead!!

I remember that kit. You did a lot of great detail work like the pin-up girls and the map. And of course the engine.

Boobies. Well I never.
This is quite a nice detailed build. I like all the extras especially the more subtle ones such as road dirt.

Hi Al,
This is stunning Sir, I love the extra details that you have done, are the fuel lines coming from the pump to the rail on the engine part of the kit or are they add-ons that you made for it...

Thanks both.
Andy, all of the pumbing and wiring are extras I added.
