Back at the bench
Hey guys,
It's been quite a while since I last sat at the bench due to a number of factors/changes in my life.
Been heavily involved in slot racing these last fifteen momths or so but recently have realised how much I've been missing building statics.
The site has been very inactive too in recent years, so let's see if we can revive it?
Cheers,
A'.

Good to hear from you again. Here's hoping for a resurgence of interest. This site is well established and doesn't deserve to die.

With just under76k posts, I guess it's fair to say that Dave.
BTW don't know if you have realised but I'm no longer in Haydon Bridge any longer and have remarried.

I've got plenty on the go, and with Autumn supposedly here, once it's cooler I'll be hitting the bench soon. Got the eyes sorted, so I have no excuse for not building.

Re: Back at the bench
Glad to see another one here. Mr. Harakawa (Dave) and I have been posting the past few weeks. I thought I would try posting since it was dead. I figured my models would be stuck at the top of that new display window for a long time. But about a week later Mr. Harakawa posted and we've been posting one after the other since then. So I hope more people start posting again. I always liked this forum and it used to be pretty active and then it just died out one day.

Re: Back at the bench
Hi Al,
Just had your email about here and thought I'd pop in to say a quick hello...
I've not been up to much myself, my health has been slowly going down, especially the head side, plus, I lost ole Dixon back at the end of July so that took it out of me too...
As for models, I've not really had the pennies to buy any kits, so have been doing up old Die Cast vehicles, either restoring them or is they are too far gone or the screens are bust, I've been turning them into the Mad Max type of vehicles...
I have missed this place though, will be good to start coming back, even if I don't post any models, I do love seeing some of the creations that you all come up with...
Please, take care everyone and keep safe...
All the very best...

Wow!
I guess I have been out of the loop awhile. Would love to catch up with you Al in a pm. I always hoped I would see the farm, but hey, I'm sure you could find me another 15th century farm house to stand in. I also want to hear more about the slots.
