69 Chevelle

Just found some photos of a build I did a couple of years ago for my brother-in-law. It was the car he had to leave when he went to Vietnam and had to trade for a station wagon when he got back.

I put it in a display case with a photoshopped backdrop of one of his hometown cruising spots and presented it at his 60th birthday bash. It brought tears.

That is a sweet Chevelle. I really like the color. Brown is something you don't see that often. It looks like it is metallic.

It is a custom mixed automotive base coat/clear coat metallic to match the '69 color chip.

Stunning build! I bet it brought tears! What a wonderful car. Great job bring it to life Dan.
