Ferrari 365BB - Revell 1/24
Well, it's been back into the WIP box again as the New Years' tradition. This kit was a flea market find along with a Ferrari 308 also by Revell. This one had parts removed from the sprue and a few things were broken. When I started having fit problems, I got frustrated and dumped it in the box. The kit is a PITA. The tiny 12 piece exhaust system was impossible to line up properly. I couldn't get he air cleaners to fit properly under the black body projections, so I cut the nibs off dropping them lower, clear from the bodywork. The rear bonnet still doesn't fit snug to the chassis even after removing material from the inner fenderwells. But now it's finished.
Another shelf filler. And more room in the WIP box.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

All those problems endured yet look at the end result. Your perseverance has payed off well.
I would love to have a crack at something like this. Great job.

Neat job, regardless of poor "fit"! I can never make up my mind on proper colors for Ferraris. Yellow is cheerful, to me. I bought all the sports car kits from Revell back then. It was my introduction to the then new Lancia Stratos, a lifelong romance in my eyes. Thanx for a beautiful job on a model I haven't seen on any web model club site before!

Great job and colour choice Mike. Ferraris look great in yellow.

Hi,
That's a winner for the simple fact you've finished it. Mine flew into the spares bin...
Cheers,
Nuno.
