1957 Chevrolet 4400 After a repaint and cleaning me out of cocktail sticks/coffee stirrers/ ice block sticks here it is.

I hate body coloured or black wheels, so this got silver ones. The hardware store owner is obviously a revhead, hence the V8 and dual exhausts

Great looking piece.

There are quite a few subjects out there that are available only as diecasts. I don't know why the model companies haven't worked with the diecast firms to produce a diecast bodied model with better chassis, engine, interior detailing. There were a few examples years ago, but the trend seemed to fade away.

Back in the 80s, Monogram had a mid 50s Thunderbird with a diecast body & the rest plastic. I liked the idea since no matter what disaster befell the paint, dump it in a tub of thinners and you're good to go again.

To put something in the back makes it much more real. Re:wheel color, red is sometimes a common color too.

Nice touch with stuff out for delivery in the back. Silver wheels look good too.
