2007 Kawasaki Ninja
I did this for the community build, I thought I'd bring it out into the general forum with a build up.
The plan was to go with pure white and pearl clear with mica red wheels.
All parts were carefully cut off and filled and glued together where possible ready for paint.
The paint was applied and clear coated. There was no need for primer as the plastic was pretty much flawless and near to the right colour. Tamiya spray went on very, very well though I did undercoat the red parts with silver leaf first.
I sprayed some misc parts with semi gloss black.
I hand painted the engine using photos I found on the net.
The back wheel was put into the swing arm and the chain painted with gold, washed with brown ink and individually picked out.
The engine was put into the frame.
The swing arm was attached.
The exhausts were painted and fitted.
The bodywork was polished and I began the construction and decaling.
And there it is. A nice change from cars. Thanks for looking.

Thanks all.
I painted the disc silver then washed with black ink and then drybrushed selected areas with aluminium more to the edges than the centre.

Thanks all. Sorry I missed this.
It is Tamiya TS-39 Mica red over TS-30 Silver leaf.
