1971 plymouth GTX
I'm calling her finished.
The kit was a survivor of our house flood of five years ago and I started it about two years ago.
Originaly, it was going to be left in satin pearl black but at the last moment I decided to clear coat it. IMO, she looked better in satin. More moody that is.
I changed the kit Rallye wheels for some torque thrusts and lowered the front suspension for a better more aggressive stance. Tyres are from the parts bin.
The front and rear side indicators and rear lights set, were originaly supposed to be decals. Those were of course, destroyed in the flood. I made some rear lights from clear styrene but just left the repeaters as is.
The strobe and Plymouth decals are from a BSR, Ramo Stott, NASCAR decal set.
I left off the chin spoilers as they were a poor fit and should really have been attached before applying the paint.
I'm not real happy with the photos as I find black a very hard colour to get right.

Interesting color choice Al. I did mine in what I hoped was a close representation of the Vitamin C orange color. The chin spoiler was rubber, and always black. never body color.
