Minicraft..............

Recently I took delivery of this kit from the USA:



However, when it arrived, it had the wrong set of tyres, being smaller and fatter. The seller. apologised and refunded my money in full and said to keep the kit anyway.

I contacted Minicraft and asked to buy a set of tyres for them. A few days later, I got a reply asking for my shipping address so they could calculate shipping.

Then nothing for ten days.

I contacted them again yesterday and got this reply:

Alan,

Unfortunately, after looking in our warehouse, as we have not produced this kit in a very long time and no longer have any of those tires. (spares) May check ebay or online.

Sorry!

So why ask for my shipping details?? Having had good service in the past, I now feel let down by them taking so long to reply.  

End of rant!!!!

So if anyone knows where I can get a set of the correct tyres, I'd be very gratefull to hear from you.

It sounds like a fair enough response Al to be fair.

Maybe they assumed they had them and asked for your addy as a matter of course?
