Roger Moore
died aged 89.
He was a good Bond, but was much cooler as Simon Templar in The Saint , and The Persuaders as Brett Sinclair is still funny to some extent.
As an aside, dreadful news in Manchester today, I don't think anyone here is from there?

Re: Roger Moore
Sad news about Roger Moore Shay. I agree, Simon Templar and Brett Sinclair were his best roles.
Manchester......... what can be said accept absolutley horrific. 22 dead and at least 59 injured. Mostly children and young people too so I believe.
Will this absolute stupidity never end?............. we must NEVER give in to these barstewards.
My heart and condolences go out to all those affected.

Sad news about Roger Moore, great actor. I particularly liked him in 'The Man Who Haunted Himself'
We used to go into Manchester a lot, (Lisa still does), its a fantastic city. Lots of my nieces friends were at the concert and thankfully she was unable to go. (not entirely convinced she wanted to anyway).
Worthless peace of crap is all that can be said about the perpetrator. Back when the IRA bomb went off we were in the city and the iconic postbox was my leaning post with Stevie in his buggy, whilst Lisa was in M & S. They gave a warning of course.
