Re: Name the car (Game)
Shay, there is no production limit. The original rules, found in post one of the other thread, simply states cars must be from mainstream manufacturers.
Maybe we should review the rules and start a fresh thread??

No worries Al, it's all good, if it's not broke don't fix it.

Yes it is Shay, early one I think. They smoothed out the eyebrows over the headlamps later on which I think spoiled it a little.

Re: Name the car (Game)
My best guess would be an Austin Cambridge A40 or A50 circa 1954 to 1957.
Just not quite sure on the rear quarter light. It may be just the angle but it looks fixed whereas the Cambridge had opening rear quarter lights.

Rear window looks like a Morris Minor. Is it a Major?

I'd forgotten all about the Major. I think you may have nailed it Gary.

It was the back window Al, and when I went to look at Moggy Minors I stumbled across a Major.

Re: Name the car (Game)
That's it all right. I knew you were on the right track when you suggested the Riley.
The Major was an Australian and NZ only development. The 1957 Chevrolet provided some inspiration as well!
