Birthday model
Hi all its ages away yet October, but my missus wants to know, I have a budget of 100 quid, I have no idea other than I don't do planes as I'm rubbish at them, I will have a go at anything, I would like to try something different, but I won't do small as my eyesight isn't up to it, come on give me some ideas.

Re: Birthday model
Lots of big scale vehicles, from late model Mustangs to really big scale rods. There were a couple old Ford Model "As" in 1/16th (?), a ragtop and a pick up that weren't bad in price and available. Older big scale dragsters and funny cars from Revell are around in resale too.

What has happened to prices? They sure seem high with flippers out to "max profits."

How about a 1/18diecast and customise the hell out of it? Gives you a large scale to start with.

Summit Racing has a couple of large scale die cast kits (1/18 I believe) that have engine, tire & wheel options. They are around $100 US.

Summit Racing, the big parts warehouse? I'd love to build one if it was a drag kit.

Re: Birthday model
I just googled them. They are partially assembled diacast display models the have not been assembled or painted at the factory. Interesting concept. Not my choice of kit. They also have a few other scales as well.
