Turbocharged Scania T-142 H
I have been having a huge problem staying motivated at the bench. I have been cleaning ,priming, painting parts on the Wolf F1 this week, so that has helped. I put the Lambo back in the box and put it away because it just was not doing anything at all for me. I started to clean up some more engine parts on the 1/16 scale Gullwing but cannot find my small sanding sticks.
Soooooo....
I am building a truck !!
I went out to the garage and fortunately the top two boxes on the stack had truck kits in them. This one caught my eye. The chassis was partially started. Just glued together with liquid glue, and mostly straight.
I will need to repair one front corner of the frame rail.
...and cut the rear axle brake cans loose and reverse them. They are installed upside down.
Not sure I will keep the box art color scheme, even though this kit is molded in four different colors and can be assembled without painting.
First things first, make the repairs to the chassis, clean up all the stuff the original builder left behind, and finish the chassis assembly while mulling over paint schemes.

That looks like a cool truck....sometimes we need something to mix up the normal builds and bring new motivation to our benches. I build big trucks too sometimes there is a lot to do on them or with them and it makes a nice change of pace.

If you like the look of the body style, a light or bright color works. If it's a style not the greatest, a dark color may be best. just a thought. Good luck, we'll be watching.

Good stuff Sam, always a pleasure watching you build, best of luck. It's never easy picking up someone else's mess.
