Ace says Hi

So, I finally found you all. Many many thanks to Beowulf for finding me and steering me here. I am gonna finish some old models like that '33 Caddy barn find and a plastic Cutty.

I never grew up so I haven't stopped building since I was a kid in 1969 and got a fiddly 1/32 scale TR4 (with a engine!) but every model is a challenge, especially laying down a passable paint job on automobile bodies.

Yep Kats, that's a Monogram Cutty Sark. The kit dates to 1977 but I can't find the scale anywhere. I reckon it to be 1/155 from measuring the keel. I only laid on one piece of rigging and got stalled......whàt a wimp!! I started a WIP because I am finishing it!
