Here is one I finished last year - it is built from a yard sale find that was partially built.  The engine and frame were somewhat of a glue bomb, so I tried to do a little magic to make presentable.  It is painted with Model Master Burgundy enamel with a clear coat.  The decals are from a '97 Ford pickup kit; however,
they turned out quite cloudy. Sorry about the photos - it appears that the chrome base detracts form the finished truck  '50 Chevy Pickup "AMT Street Machine" 1757741307

Color is both classy and almost as if from the era. Nice save of what some would toss away!
