Re: Accurate Minitures Corvette Grand Sport
Back in the day, AMT came out with their annual Corvettes, with a few features like real racer. It took decades for any other company to come along with a genuine looking one. Nice beginning.

For those who are building/intending to build, this is a great reference site.

Re: Accurate Minitures Corvette Grand Sport
Yours is looking great! You'd think they would have filled the bottom of the chassis instead of the top. Your attention to the details are over the top. I plan to build the '63 Version in May and would like to do more research. Plan to paint mine Pontiac Engine Blue and white. Looking forward to seeing more on yours.

Bruce, this was my 'go to' source for the build. Plenty of reference material.

Re: Accurate Minitures Corvette Grand Sport
Interior complete. I raided Mrs Webby's x-mas ribbon collection for the belts, the PE is included with the kit. I've had some fitment issues with the chassis to interior, ended up cutting the base of the fuel tank (which is just visible) and notching the diff top (which isn't)
That took care of the issue. Only problem is I've run out/can't find my chrome BMF, so that will halt progress.
Oh well, there's always the 1967 'vette, which is comming along nicely. The weather is too dodgey today to paint, so hopefully I'll be able to shoot
some BRG at it tomorrow.

Re: Accurate Minitures Corvette Grand Sport
Sweet! Should look pretty great once done. I always thought those rear fenders would be great wind catchers.
