Know how you feel mate, not long since we said goodbye to our wolfie furbag.

These animals come into our lives..... take over .... and don't stay around as long as we'd like them to.

Sorry to hear this Lee.

My wife and I have seven cats at the moment but over the last thirty seven years we've had 20 or so more. Every one was a wrench when their time came, so I know how you feel right now.

Best advice I can offer is to go out and get a new cat/kitten tomorrow, it will go some way to easing the pain.

Chin up matey!

I'm always saddened when I hear about a loved family member going to animal heaven Prayers please 3188091063

I think Skid is right about getting a kitten but not as a replacement but as a new member of the family cause you will never replace your pet of 22 yrs.

22 is a good long life for a cat.  Pets hold a special place in our hearts.  I've been thru it with pets and have a neighbor with a kitten with a disease that will cut its life very short.  It is always hard to say good bye.

Thanks all. Laid him to rest today. He is at peace now. We will get another eventually. We love them too much not too.

Sorry to hear, Lee. 22 years is a damn good innings. I know too well your pain at the moment.

Thanks. We miss him, but will be going to look at a kitten tomorrow. Nothing will replace him, but we have room for another in our hearts.

I know how much an animal can mean to you. My yellow lab, Nick, has been gone for 17 years and I still think of him daily. You have my true sympathy.
