1963 Olds Starfire
My rebuild of the ancient Johan kit. New paint, added pedals, indicator stalk, shifter, mirrors as well as the usual engine wireing.
The pics give it a rake which it lacks in the plastic. Tamiya Mica Blue is the colour. I was going to get the wheels & bumpers replated, but decided
against it on cost.
The area between the chrome side moulds should be either silver or aluminium. I gave it a try with BMF, but couldn't get the desired result.
It now rejoins its 15 other Oldsmobile cousins in the Olds/Buick cabinet. The next Olds in the rebuild queue will be the '69 Toronado. Its been untouched since the late 1980s, in my pre BMF days. A time capsule.
