MPC 1/16 Street Charger
This one nearly ended up in the bin more times than I can remember, a b***h of a kit to build but I won....sort of. Finished in Zero Paints Nissan Pearl Red.

Very well done. Engine is WOW, paint color is really interesting with red but pinkish in some light.

Very nice build of an extremely finicky kit

Hi Mence,
Sorry for missing this Sir, I have always loved the Charger and you've done this one proud, I think the good 'ole Duke boys would have loved this too...

Neat! This one of the few builds I've seen of this kit that got finished.

Re: MPC 1/16 Street Charger
That's the "Petty NASCAR" kit, I think. It does have the full race parts, but not so much for street or quarter mile running. Lack of any interior comforts also limits the possibilities. Nevertheless, I'm glad to see these big scale models. Potential for superdetailing is extraordinary. Thanx.

Nice build...I have heard the horror stories about this kit. Shame they couldn't offer us all a factory stock version of it.

Re: MPC 1/16 Street Charger
Horror stories indeed, the moulds are so tired I really doubt it will be re released again.
It's a shame, it's a great subject in a bigger scale and I'm sure if someone was to release a half decent kit of it now, they would sell loads.
Just glad I didn't pay too much for this one...

Re: MPC 1/16 Street Charger
I here you there M. Id like to try some very large scale stuff someday again...haven't built one since I was a kid the Monogram 1/8th scale 80 Pontiac Trans Am kit...it was a good one but the decals were a real challenge for it.
