John, am I seeing things, or is the body not sitting down over the frame rails all the way, in the front ?

It's all the way down Sam. I think what you are seeing is shadow. Later today I'll get a closeup of the front end. That is what attracts me to the 41 anyway.

Love the finished product John. Growing up in a SoCal beach town, I saw lots of these as a kid.

Sam: As you can see the body is down over the bumper supports.
Looking at the earlier photos, it is obviously shadow.
Just for info, since the boards got here from RetiredMike I've decided to do a base for the Woody. One of the boards Mike sent me will go on the rack and the other will be leaned against the side of the Woody. I also intend to add a couple of figures. I will not be able to get started until the end of July though; got other commitments until then.
