1941 Ford Woody

The Woody is for all practical purposes finished.  I will be adding another surfboard when the boards RetiredMike sent me arrive.  Also, I have noticed that the rear bumper needs adjustment.  Didn't notice that until I took the photos.

John, am I seeing things, or is the body not sitting down over the frame rails all the way, in the front ?

Love the color, wood, and the boards are a nice touch.

It's all the way down Sam.  I think what you are seeing is shadow. Later today I'll get a closeup of the front end. That is what attracts me to the 41 anyway.

Looking at the earlier photos, it is obviously shadow.

Just for info, since the boards got here from RetiredMike I've decided to do a base for the Woody. One of the boards Mike sent me will go on the rack and the other will be leaned against the side of the Woody. I also intend to add a couple of figures. I will not be able to get started until the end of July though; got other commitments until then.

As a display it will look even better!

It's a stunner, love the real wood, I think it really finishes her off, just need a nice sunny day to take her to the beach...
